MEET OUR FOUNDER
Candice Puthawala
Candice Puthawala is a certified Holistic Health Coach through the Institute for integrative Nutrition, and a certified Plant Based Chef through the Matthew Kenney’s culinary school. She lives in Santa Monica, California where she loves developing new recipes, taking a moment to connect in her garden, and spending time with family and friends.
A 19-year fashion industry veteran, Candice left the corporate world in search of a lifestyle that relieved her burnout and helped to heal her autoimmune issues. And so, Beauty Bar Chocolate was born — a luxurious, delicious chocolate to help people find inner peace and feel vibrant from the inside out.

Girls Inc. inspires all girls to be strong, smart, and bold through direct service and advocacy. Our comprehensive approach to whole girl development equips girls to navigate gender, economic, and social barriers and grow up healthy, educated,and independent. These positive outcomes are achieved through mentoring relationships, girls-only safe spaces, and research-based programming.
